I have a thing for this girl at work and am trying to get to know her better. I asked her out, but she said she wasn't ready for dating because of her little baby being very young and due to her recent breakup with the baby's father. After a little time went by I sent her a message via Facebook encouraging her about her schooling and giving her advice since I've already finished school and found a job. I also told her how wonderful she is and what a good Mother she is and to just keep doing what she's doing. She thanked me and told me that the message was "awesome".Two weeks later, at a get together with friends, she starts sitting by me a lot. She once stood up next to me and purposefully rubbed on my arm, looking like she wanted to just touch me somehow. As we all parted ways, she came up to me to give me a hug. She squeezed me for a while though, hugging me tight, like an embrace. Is this just friend stuff? Or does she "like" me? I've already told her I like her, even before this hug. So if she didn't like me back, would she still do this? Actually, what I really what to know is if I'm just in her friend zone now.P.S. - I am a single parent as well, and she has opened up to me about her personal life, and wanted to know stuff about me, like if I still live with my ex, and how long we've been broken up. Is that stuff specifically her putting me in the "friend zone"?
